Moderate Sedation certification required
Successful completion of Pharmacology exam required
Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia program or challenge exam required
Strong knowledge of GI procedural nursing care and sedation monitoring
Ability to work rotating shifts and participate in on-call coverage

Position Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Long-Term Care (LTC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, resident-centered nursing care in a skilled nursing environment. Primary Responsibilities
Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders
Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and report changes appropriately
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per clinical protocols
Coordinate and implement care plans to ensure continuity and quality of care
Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other clinical staff during shifts
Respond to resident needs, emergencies, and clinical changes in a timely manner
Maintain accurate documentation including clinical records, medication logs, and incident reports
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and interdisciplinary teams
Educate residents and families regarding care plans, medications, and treatment goals
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and care conferences
Promote a compassionate, safe, and dignified resident care environment
Required Qualifications
Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Position Overview
