Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiologic / CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures that support accurate medical diagnoses and patient care. The technologist will ensure patient safety, maintain imaging quality standards, and operate imaging equipment efficiently while collaborating with radiologists and the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols and safety standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of multiple imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, or Sonography.
Follow radiation safety practices in accordance with ALARA guidelines.
Verify patient identity using two identifiers and obtain informed consent when required.
Review patient history and ensure accurate documentation for imaging procedures.
Conduct routine quality control checks on imaging equipment.
Communicate promptly with radiologists regarding STAT or urgent cases.
Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
Assist with patient transport, clerical duties, and departmental coordination as needed.
Participate in cross-training and assist in training imaging staff when required.
Support departmental operations, including potential weekend, holiday, or on-call coverage.
Qualifications
Certifications & Licensure
Must hold two (or obtain within one year of hire) of the following credentials:
ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), ARRT(MR), ARRT(M) – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
RDMS, RVT, RDCS, RMSKS – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
NMTCB – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 90 days of hire).
Active state licensure required.
