Key Responsibilities
Draw blood and obtain laboratory specimens for testing.
Transport specimens to the laboratory following established procedures.
Properly identify patients prior to specimen collection.
Educate patients on specimen collection requirements and procedures.
Ensure all required laboratory and cardiology documentation is completed accurately.
Research and verify unusual test requests using available resources.
Document patient and testing information within hospital information systems.
Maintain compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.
Support quality patient care and patient safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
Phlebotomy Certification (PBT)
EKG Certification
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification

Key Responsibilities
Perform mammography and stereotactic breast procedures under the direction of a radiologist.
Greet patients, explain procedures, and prepare them for examinations.
Position patients appropriately and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Utilize proper exposure techniques and imaging protocols.
Maintain quality standards in accordance with ACR Mammography QA/QC guidelines and Hologic Selenia Dimensions QC requirements.
Track and document patient information within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Ensure accurate documentation for billing and compliance purposes.
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
Participate in continuing education activities required by MQSA.
Support departmental operations and maintain quality patient care standards.
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
ARRT Credentialed in Breast Mammography.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.

Education
Associate Degree (AAS) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
