Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Position Title: Cardiovascular Technologist
Location: Panama City, FL

Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Cardiovascular Technologist prepares and operates equipment, assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, and performs hemodynamic monitoring. The Technologist also supports radiographic procedures to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency and assists with general patient care and lab efficiency, including transporting patients to and from the lab.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and operate cardiovascular and vascular equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Assist physicians during cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
Perform hemodynamic monitoring and other specialized procedures as assigned.
Conduct radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature for various anatomical areas.
Support general patient care and family member interactions in the lab.
Assist in maintaining the efficient function of the lab, including transporting patients.
Qualifications
1 year of previous experience in Specials, Vascular, or Cardiac Cath Lab.
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technician.
Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology.
Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
