Shift: Variable shifts — Mon–Fri, Sat/Sun 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM; Sat/Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (rotating)
Hours: 40 hours/week
Weekly Pay: Local: $1,400/week | Traveler: $1,720/week (Gross)

Job Overview:

In this inpatient role, you’ll assist pharmacists with medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management, all under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Key Duties:

• Prepare and distribute medications accurately and safely.
• Refill automated dispensing units and maintain stock rotation.
• Prepare IV admixtures and other sterile medications, including chemotherapy.
• Repackage bulk medications into unit doses.
• Receive, store, and restock medications and supplies.
• Perform monthly inspections of storage areas and replace expired items.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (NHA/PTCB) and NY State Pharmacy Technician Registration required.
• 2–3 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
