Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA 25-19192

Job: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

Location: Passaic County, NJ

Shift: 07:00 am – 03:00 pm EST

Basic Requirement: NJ CNA license, BLS

Local rate: $30/hr and $1200 weekly

Travel rate: $34.25/hr and $1,370 weekly

Responsibility:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and oral care
• Feed residents and monitor food and fluid intake/output
• Record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Answer call lights and respond to resident needs promptly
• Provide catheter care and nail care
• Transport residents via wheelchair and assist with mobility
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the care environment
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Support clients’ comfort and personal appearance
• Assist with simple and uncomplicated care procedures within CNA scope of practice

Requirements:

• Valid CNA certification in the state of NJ
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Prior experience in long-term care or adult day health setting is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Must be dependable and able to work assigned shifts including weekends and holidays as scheduled
