Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager

Summary:
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and manage an IT project that aligns with a customer-focused, business-driven approach to delivering IT services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled team and contribute to critical and high-visibility projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, milestones, and activities, in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.
Provide weekly status and risk reports to stakeholders.
Coordinate with business leaders to maintain and update release schedules.
Define project objectives and align strategies with key business stakeholders.
Oversee multiple project activities to ensure adherence to plans and goals.
Deliver outcomes in line with timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with other Project Managers on plans, work breakdown structures, checklists, and budgets.
Prepare and implement supporting plans for quality control, risk management, change management, testing, and related areas.
Monitor project scope and manage change control processes.
Follow industry-recognized standards, guidelines, and best practices in project execution.
Resolve issues through remediation plans and effective communication with stakeholders and partners.
Maintain detailed reports to monitor project status and progress.
Adhere to established project management methodologies and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, enterprise-wide IT projects.
Expertise in handling multiple simultaneous projects with competing priorities and evolving timelines.
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and experience with Agile and Waterfall approaches.
Proven ability to foster effective relationships with stakeholders, management, end-users, and vendors.
Leadership experience in a matrixed environment.
Excellent ability to translate technical concepts into terms understandable by both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong skills in risk assessment, mitigation planning, and detailed project planning.
Exceptional oral and written communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
Solid understanding of government security standards and regulatory requirements.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar accreditation is highly desirable.
Experience in delivering AI projects is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of IT experience.
At least 8 years of experience managing projects from initiation through delivery, meeting time and budget constraints.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale enterprise-wide IT projects.
At least 3 years of experience managing Access and Identity Management projects.
Proficiency in preparing project documentation, such as requirements and status reports.
Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.
Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
