Key Responsibilities
Support radiation oncology treatment planning and clinical therapy programs

The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients requiring close monitoring in a telemetry/step-down environment.
This role is ideal for nurses experienced in step-down, telemetry, or acute medical-surgical care who are comfortable managing higher-acuity patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric step-down patients
Monitor telemetry readings, patient status, and vital signs
Assess and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Care for post-ICU and higher-acuity medical/surgical patients
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Maintain accurate EMR documentation using Paragon and Pyxis systems
Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and hospital protocols
Support coordinated discharge planning and continuity of care
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
New York RN License or Compact eligibility preferred
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) or higher required
