Description:

The RN Cardiac Surgery Assistant Nurse provides support to the surgical team during open-heart surgeries, assisting with preoperative preparation, intraoperative procedures, and postoperative care. This role includes using cardiovascular technologies such as Impella and ECMO, as well as providing direct patient care during surgeries. On-call duties and weekend shifts are required.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 3 years of experience in cardiac surgery.
• Experience with open-heart surgery, endovascular procedures, and cardiovascular technologies like ECMO, Impella, and IABP.
• Ability to assist with patient care during surgeries and manage complex instruments.
• Familiarity with sterile surgical techniques and monitoring vital signs during surgeries.
• Ability to manage on-call responsibilities and work weekends.
