Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location: Greenville, SC 29605 Contract Type: Travel Contract (Candidates within 100 miles are not eligible) Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (07:30 AM – 04:00 PM) Duration: 13 Weeks (High potential for extension) Pay Rate: $2,846 per week
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures such as PET/CT, SPECT, and cardiac stress tests using radiopharmaceuticals.
Operate imaging equipment including gamma cameras and PET scanners.
Educate patients about procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Monitor patients for adverse reactions to radiopharmaceuticals.
Comply with ALARA principles and OSHA regulations for radiation safety.
Maintain accurate documentation for isotope usage and disposal.
Required Skills
Hands-on expertise in PET/CT, SPECT imaging, and dose calibration.
Strong understanding of radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration.
Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team communication.
Detail-oriented approach to imaging and record-keeping.
