Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical
Location: Holmdel, NJ 07733
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Duration: 13 Weeks (High potential for extension)

Pay Rate: $55 – $66 per hour 

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care within a busy Med-Surg unit. The ideal candidate will bring a strong clinical background, adaptability, and a commitment to evidence-based care in a night-shift setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and document nursing care tailored to individual patient needs.

• Prioritize patient care based on comprehensive assessments and evolving clinical situations.

• Develop and revise care plans using the nursing process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

• Initiate assessments based on presenting patient conditions, diagnoses, and care goals.

• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions including wound care, IV therapy, and medication administration.

• Monitor, evaluate, and record patient progress toward recovery and care outcomes.

• Advocate for best practices in care delivery and quality improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and HIPAA regulations.

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with ethical and professional standards.

• Support unit operations and assist with other tasks as needed.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience (required)

Required Certifications (Must be active at time of submission):

• BLS – American Heart Association

• ACLS – American Heart Association

• NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
