Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst (Advanced) to support enterprise-level system testing initiatives within a healthcare-focused environment.
This role will function as a system testing specialist, supporting enrollment, eligibility, and claims-related systems, including document management and workflow solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in test planning, automation, and system integration testing, along with a proactive approach to identifying risks and improving system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and QA/UAT processes
Perform system, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing
Design and support UI testing and automation frameworks
Ensure application reliability, stability, and performance
Conduct negative testing, usability testing, and quality assessments
Identify risks, defects, and improvement opportunities; escalate issues as needed
Maintain and track defects in testing tools and databases
Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues
Support test automation scripting using established guidelines
Review vendor test plans, scripts, and results for quality assurance compliance
Participate in walkthroughs, inspections, and governance reviews
Monitor testing progress, report status, and address deviations
Document test scenarios, execution results, and defect reports
Ensure adherence to QA standards, policies, and best practices
Communicate testing status, gaps, and risks to leadership and project teams
Required Skills & Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong English proficiency
5+ years of experience translating business requirements into test cases and scenarios
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
3+ years of experience with test automation frameworks (Sahi Pro and/or Selenium)
Working knowledge of QA process frameworks (e.g., SPICE, TPI, TMMI, CMMI)
Hands-on experience with test design techniques such as:
Equivalence class partitioning
Pairwise testing
Experience with test design tools such as PICT or similar
Preferred Skills
5+ years of experience in large enterprise or e-business systems
3+ years of healthcare or Medicaid systems experience
Knowledge of HIPAA EDI transactions and X12 standards
Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall (SDLC) environments
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Business, or Healthcare-related field OR equivalent work experience (year-for-year basis)
Work Environment
Fully onsite role in Columbia, SC
