Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift
Location: Providence, RI 02908
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Rotation: Rotating Days/Nights | Every Other Weekend Required
Pay Rate: $50–$55/hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support adult critical care and emergency care units. This role involves delivering high-quality respiratory and neurodiagnostic care to adult patients with a range of acute and chronic conditions. First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct respiratory and neurodiagnostic care to adult patients in critical care and emergency settings

  • Perform advanced airway management, including intubation and pulmonary hygiene

  • Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation, including Servo I ventilators, HFNC, BiPAP, and CPAP

  • Administer prescribed respiratory medications, including bronchodilators, corticosteroids, and nebulized therapies

  • Perform aerosol treatments, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and sputum specimen collection

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust mechanical ventilation settings, including alarm management and weaning protocols

  • Accurately document patient care using Meditech electronic medical records

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential

  • Rhode Island Respiratory Therapy License

  • BLS certification (CRT required)

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in adult critical care or emergency department settings

  • Demonstrated experience with intubation, airway management, and ventilator management
