"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 33-bed Cardiac Stepdown (CVCU/Telemetry) unit. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment, managing cardiovascular and telemetry patients with a typical 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients
Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and patient condition
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate as needed
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record system
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain a safe, high-acuity patient care environment
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care or telemetry experience
Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or cardiovascular units

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Perform initial patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
Provide skilled nursing care in home health and hospice settings
Document clinical notes and patient progress in Epic EMR
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and disease management
Supervise and support other nursing staff as needed
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and in-service training
Provide end-of-life care support with dignity and compassion
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
BLS/BCLS certification (required)
Prior experience in home health or hospice care (required)
Ability to work independently in field-based settings
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as prescribed by physicians.
Prepare and position patients to ensure high-quality imaging results.
Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Document imaging procedures using electronic systems such as Epic Systems.
Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members.
Ensure imaging rooms and equipment are properly maintained.

Day shift (8-hour shifts)
Full-time schedule (5 days per week)
Clinical or hospital imaging setting
No block scheduling
Required Qualifications
Active Radiologic Technologist certification/licensure (state-specific)
ARRT certification (preferred/required depending on facility)

Experience in diagnostic radiography
