Position Title: PeopleSoft Technical Support Engineer – Consultant
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Support Engineer to provide technical expertise and support for the PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System (HRMS), related web applications, and reporting tools. This role will be instrumental in supporting the PeopleSoft HR environment during the transition to a new HR/FIN ERP system.

Key Responsibilities

Programming & Development

  • Design, code, test, document, implement, and troubleshoot moderately complex PeopleSoft programs, modifications, and applications.
  • Ensure all deliverables are accurate, timely, and adhere to established standards.
  • Act as an analyst for critical or auxiliary systems.

Application Analysis & Support

  • Lead business requirements analysis and design technical solutions to implement system changes.
  • Collaborate with users to gather information and coordinate testing and production migration.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer for supported applications.
  • Modify, test, and implement programs in complex subsystems as required.

Communication & Reporting

  • Provide progress updates and resource estimates to management and stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • PeopleTools: Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine
  • SQR, Data Mover, Security Setup (PeopleSoft Test Framework is a plus)
  • Oracle SQL
  • PeopleSoft Reporting Tools – Query, BI Publisher
  • PeopleSoft HR experience: HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Employee Self-Service

Education & Experience

  • Proven track record as a PeopleSoft programmer or developer
