Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager to lead and stabilize a high-profile, large-scale procurement modernization initiative. This role requires exceptional leadership, structured program management skills, and the ability to quickly assess complex project dynamics. The successful candidate will drive clarity, accountability, and results while collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rapidly assess an active, high-visibility project to identify critical issues, risks, and resolution paths.
  • Implement and reinforce disciplined program management practices across planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Serve as a central liaison for technical, organizational change management, and functional teams, ensuring enterprise system requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with an external agency managing the contracted system integrator.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including vendors, business teams, ERP specialists, and executive sponsors.
  • Lead in areas such as risk management, issue resolution, scope control, and milestone accountability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record as a Program Manager for large-scale enterprise IT implementations, ideally including cloud-based procurement or ERP-related systems.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday.
  • Familiarity with procurement reform or modernization projects.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience managing large-scale state government technology initiatives.

Education & Certifications

  • PMP Certification required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 6–8 years of equivalent program management experience.
