Responsibilities
Deliver care using the nursing process and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Perform ongoing patient assessments (physical, psychological, social) including discharge planning.
Serve as charge nurse when assigned; mentor and support new staff during orientation.
Demonstrate proficiency with computerized nursing informatics.
Participate in unit meetings, required programs, and obtain annual PCAC credits.
Monitor quality of care and adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Provide service excellence to patients, families, and colleagues while maintaining confidentiality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current RN license in Massachusetts.
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
Successful completion of:
CCH Pharmacology Exam
Basic Arrhythmia Program or challenge exam
Clinical skills: IV starts, hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year (within last 5 years) in ICU, CVICU, CVPA, ER, SDC, or PACU.
PACU/SDC experience within the last 5 years preferred.
BSN preferred.
