Assist physicians with complex studies such as biopsies, deep abdominal exams, and color-flow Doppler procedures.
Prepare patients by explaining procedures and positioning them appropriately for each anatomical view.
Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate documentation and archiving of results.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and sterilization of instruments and supplies.
Utilize electronic systems such as EPIC, TeleTracking, and other facility-specific platforms for scheduling and documentation.
Provide guidance and instruction to students, employees, and medical residents.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of relevant ultrasound experience required.
Must be RDMS certified (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer).
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association required).
Strong interpersonal and technical skills with attention to detail.
Experience with EPIC and hospital-based imaging systems preferred.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of MRI experience, strong knowledge of imaging protocols, and be proficient in managing patients and workflow in a clinical imaging environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures in compliance with department standards and protocols, maintaining 99% accuracy
Schedule appropriate time slots per patient and review all requisitions to ensure smooth workflow throughout the shift
Prepare and administer contrast media as required with 100% accuracy
Process and submit imaging studies within 30 minutes of exam completion
Interpret and translate physician orders into accurate MRI protocols
Maintain accurate patient logs, equipment downtime reports, and documentation
Collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols and study quality
Support departmental operations, including reporting and workload distribution when acting in a lead or charge role
Ensure patient and staff safety; report incidents or equipment concerns promptly
Provide compassionate assistance and communication to patients and families
Cross-train in other imaging modalities if applicable
Required Certifications & Experience:
