Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure
Operate imaging equipment and manage computer systems for scheduling, ordering, and reporting
Promptly report any equipment issues to the manager and Clinical Engineers
Provide support and guidance to Radiologic Technologist students during their training
Participate in duties related to equipment quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and departmental audits
Qualifications
Experience:
Must have experience in operating x-ray machines and performing radiographic exams in an OR setting
Solid knowledge of medical terminology and proper patient positioning
Education & Certification:
Graduation from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)
ARRT Certification (Required)
BLS Certification (American Heart Association) (Required)
