Job Title: RN – Emergency Department (ED) Fast Track
Location: Facilities across OH State
Pay Rate: $46 – $48/hour (based on experience)
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Multiple Shifts available
Position Overview
We are seeking a fast-paced, patient-focused RN to work in our Emergency Department Fast Track Unit. This area specializes in lower-acuity cases requiring quick assessment and discharge, and the RN will play a vital role in streamlining care and improving patient flow.
Key Responsibilities
• Triage and manage patients presenting with non-life-threatening conditions
• Perform assessments, wound care, IV starts, and administer medications
• Educate patients on follow-up care and symptom management
• Work closely with providers to maintain efficient patient throughput
• Maintain accurate records and support overall departmental flow
Qualifications
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience
• Efficient multitasking and strong communication required
Education & Certification:
• Required:
o Diploma in Nursing
o Ohio RN License or Compact
o BLS Certification (AHA)
• Preferred:
o BSN
