Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Front-End Developer / UX Developer to lead and contribute to the development of modern, responsive, and accessible web applications. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, front-end technologies, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead or participate in the development of responsive, device-agnostic web-based applications using modern front-end technologies and frameworks.
Implement clean, accessible, and reusable code while adhering to established design systems and best practices.
Translate user research findings and design recommendations into functional, intuitive interfaces.
Develop reusable components that ensure visual consistency and ease of use across digital products.
Stay informed of and integrate emerging front-end development trends, tools, and methodologies.
Collaborate with designers, developers, product managers, business stakeholders, and end users to define and implement optimal technical solutions.
Ensure all products meet usability, accessibility (e.g., WCAG), and performance standards.
Support the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of digital products throughout their lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in front-end development and UX-focused roles.
Proficiency in industry-standard front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue).
Experience with modern cloud-based environments and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) and responsive design.
Proven track record of leading development efforts across multiple mid-size to large-scale projects.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with component-based architecture and design systems such as Material Design, USWDS, or similar.
