About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Communications Specialist to lead high‑visibility communications initiatives for an enterprise‑scale organization. You will shape messaging across web, mobile, and print channels, manage digital content in modern collaboration platforms, and mentor colleagues on best practices in content strategy and business communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership – Drive end‑to‑end business communications projects, ensuring consistent messaging and on‑time delivery.

  • Content & Collaboration Management – Create, organize, and maintain content in SharePoint Online and Team Foundation Server (TFS).

  • Multichannel Content Production – Develop engaging copy and visual assets for Windows and iOS channels, including websites, digital signage, social media, mobile apps, video, and print media using Adobe Creative Suite and Office 365.

  • Standards & Governance – Establish and enforce content management and business communications standards, aligning with organizational goals.

  • Training & Mentorship – Deliver workshops and one‑on‑one coaching on content management principles, communications best practices, and tool usage.

  • Quality Assurance – Provide expert editing and proofreading to uphold clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in business communications, content management, and digital publishing.

  • Technical Toolkit: SharePoint Online, TFS, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office 365 (including Teams and PowerPoint).

  • Expertise:

    • Deep knowledge of content management frameworks and governance.

    • Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

    • Strong grasp of business communications principles with a record of practical application.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with meticulous attention to detail in editing and proofreading.

  • Training Ability: Demonstrated success in coaching teams on communications tools and best practices.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting large public‑sector or highly regulated organizations.

  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
