Job Summary: "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a day-shift contract assignment within a long-term care or skilled nursing setting. This role involves 12-hour day shifts with guaranteed weekly hours and an anticipated December start date. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality resident care and function effectively within a collaborative clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive bedside care in a long-term care/skilled nursing environment.
Administer medications and treatments per facility policies and physician directives.
Monitor, document, and report changes in resident health status.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort.
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary staff to implement care plans.
Adhere to infection control protocols and all regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Active Michigan LPN license (or ability to obtain).
Minimum 1 year of experience in LTC/SNF settings.
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred).
Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
Ability to consistently work 12-hour day shifts.
