Job Title: Children’s Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Contract

Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

A leading healthcare facility in Greenville, South Carolina is seeking an experienced Children’s Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment. This role will provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and critically ill patients across multiple units including Pediatric floors, PICU, ER, and NICU.
The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric critical care experience and be comfortable working in high-acuity environments.
Pediatric (PEDS) Floors
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Emergency Room (ER)
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Assess, treat, and monitor neonatal and pediatric patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and advanced respiratory treatments.
Manage and monitor ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory support devices.
Respond to emergency situations and participate in rapid response and code teams.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Accurately document patient care in EPIC EMR.
Utilize medication dispensing systems such as Pyxis and Omnicell.
Float to assigned pediatric and critical care areas as needed.
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
Eligible for or active South Carolina Respiratory Care license.
Minimum 1 year of EPIC documentation experience.
