Position Summary
The Labor & Delivery RN provides direct patient care for women and newborns in labor and delivery, post-partum, and nursery units. The RN may float between units and is responsible for patient assessments, monitoring, and interventions, including assisting and circulating in C-sections. This role requires acute care experience, the ability to work independently, and strong communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care in labor and delivery, post-partum, and nursery units
Float between units as assigned
Circulate during C-sections; ability to scrub C-sections preferred
Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in patient status
Implement care plans with minimal orientation and supervision
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC preferred)
Maintain patient safety, infection control, and compliance with hospital policies
Provide patient and family education and support
Required Qualifications
Active New York State RN license
Current BLS certification (must be able to recertify)
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience within the past 2 years
Experience in a Level 1 trauma or equivalent hospital preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to scrub C-sections
Experience circulating during C-sections
Experience using EPIC electronic medical records

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiation Therapist to deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician instructions and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, patient-centered care, and experience working with advanced radiation therapy equipment. Experience with TrueBeam and CT Simulation is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians and in compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
Operate and maintain high-voltage, state-of-the-art radiation therapy equipment while adhering to strict safety standards.
Interpret physician prescriptions and treatment plans to accurately deliver radiation therapy.
Coordinate and schedule patient appointments to ensure efficient treatment flow.
Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot radiotherapy equipment, including:
Linear Accelerators
Simulators
Co-60 units (as applicable)
Perform pre-treatment procedures, including:
Operating simulators for tumor localization
Determining tumor size and positioning
Taking patient contours and collecting physical data for treatment planning
Taking patient photographs for portal verification
Obtain radiographic images to confirm treatment volumes and accuracy.
Monitor patients for radiation reactions and provide appropriate care instructions.
Ensure all safety measures are followed to protect patients and staff.
Maintain accurate and complete treatment records, including port films and documentation.
Comply with departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in departmental in-service training and educational programs.
Collaborate with inpatient and departmental teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or graduation from an AMA-certified Radiation Therapy program
Registered Radiation Therapist (RRT) license
Active New York State Radiation Therapy license
Ability to successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

Key Responsibilities

Assist with routine clinical tasks during exams, including setting up trays for injections
Take and record vital signs, measure and monitor patient progress

Responsibilities

Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers throughout procedures
