Position Summary
A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) with strong expertise in open heart and endovascular procedures. This role requires working in a high-volume surgical environment, supporting complex cardiovascular surgeries, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in open heart and endovascular surgical procedures
Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures
Operate and assist with advanced cardiac devices (IABP, Impella, ECMO)
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to surgical protocols
Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Participate in on-call and holiday coverage as required
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Strong CVOR experience (open heart and endovascular required)
Experience in high-acuity, high-volume operating room settings
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
