Job Title: Physical Therapist – Acute Care | Full-Time | Day Shift

Location: Neptune, NJ 07754

Contract Details:

• Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8s)
• Hours/Week: 40 hours
• Weekly Gross: Up to $2,800
• Setting: Acute Care – experience in orthopedics, general medicine, neurology preferred
• Duration: 13 weeks (with possible extension)
• No on-call or float requirement

Job Summary:

They are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to join their team in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse patient populations and will deliver high-quality therapy services in coordination with other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions for patients of all age groups.
• Complete all clinical documentation accurately and within departmental timelines.
• Modify care based on patients' age, culture, language, and specific needs.
• Stand for a minimum of 6 hours daily; lift at least 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and professional standards.

Requirements:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

Experience:

• Preferred: 5+ years
• Required:
• 2+ years

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy License
