Position Overview: We are seeking experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurses to support increased patient census. This is a 13-week contract with no extension.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Provide direct bedside care to pre- and post-surgical patients
Administer and document medications as prescribed
Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheterization, and dressing changes
Monitor vital signs and report any adverse reactions
Operate and adjust medical equipment as needed
Collaborate with healthcare teams on discharge planning
Educate patients and families on treatment and post-care instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Follow established nursing standards and protocols
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting
Recent experience within the past 1 year required
Strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, and post-operative care
Experience with wound care, infection control, and telemetry monitoring
Preferred Skills:
EPIC EMR experience
Education:

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
Administer medications, including blood products and IV therapies
Provide care for patients requiring respiratory support (BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC)
Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral IVs
