Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee patient care activities during assigned shifts
Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient throughput processes
Monitor and evaluate quality of patient care services
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff
Support employee engagement initiatives including rounding and service recovery
Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training, and staff development
Participate in performance evaluations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes when needed
Assist with scheduling and staffing coordination based on patient care needs
Ensure proper inventory and equipment management

Qualifications
Active RN License or Compact RN License required
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Current acute care Med-Surg experience required
Charge RN experience in Med-Surg strongly preferred
Candidates with at least 2 years of current Med-Surg RN experience may also be considered
ACLS Certification required within 30 days of employment start date
BLS Certification required within 30 days of employment start date
Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills required
Candidates must be comfortable with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
