Key Responsibilities

Optimize staffing models, including skill mix and FTE allocation
Oversee onboarding, competency validation, and staff development
Ensure effective use of information systems and data analytics
Clinical Oversight & Compliance
Ensure adherence to discharge planning and care coordination standards
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
Oversee documentation quality, accuracy, and timeliness
Serve as the subject matter expert for hospital case management practices
Performance & Financial Accountability
Monitor operational and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement
Partner with finance and divisional leadership to meet performance and budget goals

Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech)
Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Schedule: 40 Hours per Week Shift: 8-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Call Requirement Progression
First Contract: No call, no weekends
Second Contract: One weekend shift + 8 hours backup call
Third Contract: One weekend shift + 8 hours backup call + 8 hours overnight call
Compensation Package
Blended Hourly Rate: $58.03
Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,561
Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,321
Position Summary
The Surgical Technologist assists the surgical team in maintaining a safe, sterile, and efficient operating room environment. This role requires strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and procedural workflow to support high-quality patient care across multiple specialties.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare the operating room with appropriate sterile instruments, equipment, drapes, and solutions
Maintain sterile field in accordance with hospital policy and AORN standards
Perform scrub technician duties across multiple services and specialties
Pass instruments and sterile supplies to surgeons and assistants during procedures
Hold retractors, cut sutures, and assist with sponge/needle/instrument counts
Prepare, handle, label, and safely manage medications under RN and surgeon direction
Assemble and ensure functionality of sterile and non-sterile equipment
Prepare and properly handle surgical specimens
Assist with patient positioning and transport to/from the OR
Apply surgical dressings and assist with patient transfer to recovery
Support room turnover and restocking between procedures
Operate lights, suction, sterilizers, and assist with diagnostic equipment
Maintain knowledge of sterilization methods and specialty instrumentation
Collaborate with nursing staff to maintain and update specialty equipment
Support orientation of new OR team members when needed
Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs
Uphold patient dignity, privacy, and safety at all times
Deliver service excellence through teamwork, accountability, and professionalism
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited civilian or military Surgical Technology program
Must obtain and maintain National Certification (NBSTSA) within 12 months of graduation
Current BLS Certification required
Strong orthopedic experience highly preferred

Registered Nurse (RN) – Recovery Room (PACU)
Location: Hyannis, MA Contract Length: 13 Weeks Schedule: 40 Hours/Week Shift Times: Rotating start times between 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM (8-hour shifts)

Position Summary
The PACU RN is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to post-anesthesia patients. This role requires strong critical care skills, advanced assessment abilities, and proficiency in post-operative monitoring and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care
Perform and document complete patient assessments (physical, psychological, and social)
Initiate and update individualized plans of care
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse responsibilities when required
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in computerized nursing systems
Serve as a clinical resource and assist with staff orientation and education
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Adhere to infection control and blood/body fluid protocols
Maintain professional development and regulatory compliance
Deliver service excellence to patients, families, and colleagues
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active Massachusetts RN license
BLS Certification (required)
ACLS Certification (required)
PALS Certification (required)
Successful completion of facility Pharmacology exam
Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Program or challenge exam
Minimum 1 year recent (within last 5 years) experience in:
ICU
CVICU
CVPA
ER
SDC/PACU
Demonstrated competency in:
IV starts
Hemodynamic monitoring
Ventilator care
Strong English communication skills
Preferred:
BSN
Recent SDC or PACU experience
