Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Weekly
We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill cardiovascular patients in a high-acuity Critical Care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong CVICU experience, including Day 0 post-cardiac surgery recovery, and the ability to care for patients within both the CVICU and Critical Care Unit (CCU).
• Active Colorado RN License in good standing.
• Minimum three (3) years of Critical Care RN experience.
• Strong CVICU experience required.
• Day 0 CVICU experience required.
• Experience caring for post-cardiac surgery patients.
• Previous experience in high-acuity critical care environments preferred.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Current AHA ACLS Certification.
• Current AHA PALS Certification.
• Strong assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care skills.
• Provide specialized nursing care to CVICU and CCU patients.
• Manage Day 0 post-operative cardiovascular surgery patients.
• Monitor and assess critically ill cardiac patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Respond effectively to emergent situations and changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participate in call rotation as required.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.
