Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location: Plainview, TX
Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 Hours Per Week
Pay: $1,800/week - $2,300/week (Based on Eligibility and Experience)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Emergency Room for an exciting Contract job in Plainview, TX.
Responsibilities
Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care to patients with varying levels of acuity.
Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions.
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures as ordered.
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
Coordinate patient flow and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Serve as Charge Nurse and provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification.
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
Previous Charge Nurse experience.
Ability to function independently in a Charge Nurse role upon assignment start.
Ability to assume charge responsibilities with minimal department orientation.
Strong emergency department clinical experience.
Excellent communication, leadership, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
First-time travelers accepted.
Assignment Details
Expected Patient Ratio: 4:1.
No Floating Required.
48-hour schedules not approved.
