Location: Charleston, SC
Salary: $109,449 – $142,292 (Based on experience)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) to provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple emergency care sites.This role is responsible for driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement across a growing network of FSED locations.You will support executive leadership teams and oversee expansion into a multi-site emergency services network.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for Free-Standing Emergency Departments
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered emergency care delivery
• Identify operational gaps and implement improvement strategies
• Drive patient satisfaction and employee engagement initiatives
• Develop, mentor, and evaluate managers and leadership teams
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards
• Lead quality improvement and performance improvement programs
• Manage budgets, staffing, and operational performance
• Participate in hospital leadership committees and strategic planning
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary departments and hospital leadership
• Oversee ancillary services (Imaging, Admitting, Security, EVS, Lab, etc.)
• Support succession planning and leadership development
• Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and exposure protocols

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Active RN License (South Carolina or compact eligible)
• Minimum 3 years Emergency Services leadership experience
• Minimum 3 years Director/management-level experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS or ENPC Certification
