Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist for a travel assignment in Syracuse, NY. This role requires expertise in diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, strong patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License/Registration

  • Minimum 1 year of CT/MRI experience as a Radiologic Technologist

  • Strong understanding of radiographic imaging techniques and radiation safety protocols

  • Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance

Required Skills

  • Interventional Radiology Experience

  • CT/MRI Experience (Minimum 1 Year Required)

  • Patient Positioning & Imaging Procedures

  • Radiation Safety & Protection (ALARA Principles)

  • Imaging Equipment Operation & Troubleshooting

  • RIS / PACS Documentation

  • Strong Communication & Patient Interaction Skills

  • Attention to Detail

  • Ability to Work in High-Acuity Hospital Settings

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional radiologic imaging procedures

  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures

  • Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images

  • Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles

  • Assist radiologists during interventional procedures

  • Process and transfer imaging data using RIS and PACS systems

  • Maintain accurate procedure documentation

  • Follow infection control and patient safety protocols

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and radiology staff

  • Support efficient workflow in a busy hospital setting
