Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
📍 Location: Frisco, TX
📅 Contract Length: 13 Weeks
💰 Pay Rate: $54–$63/hour (Depending on Experience)
⏰ Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | 3 x 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent hospital-based Labor & Delivery experience and be comfortable caring for mothers throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate postpartum care.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
BLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of current Labor & Delivery experience
Recent hospital-based Labor & Delivery experience
Experience managing laboring patients and high-risk pregnancies
Experience with fetal monitoring and obstetric emergencies
Must comply with the facility's 100-mile radius rule
Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor and delivery
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor
Perform fetal heart rate monitoring and assessments
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries
Respond to obstetric emergencies and complications
Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
High-risk Labor & Delivery experience
Strong fetal monitoring skills
Experience with labor induction and augmentation
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced obstetrical environment
