Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay Rate: $50–$55/hour (Depending on Experience)

Shift: Nights

Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns in a high-acuity NICU setting while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized neonatal treatments.
• Operate and monitor neonatal equipment, including ventilators, incubators, and cardiac monitors.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate and support parents and families regarding neonatal care plans.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Adhere to all patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Recent NICU experience required.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current NRP Certification.
• Ability to work in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• RNC-NIC Certification.
• Previous Level III or Level IV NICU experience.
