Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR)

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong expertise in both Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and radiology procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
Schedule
4 x 10-Hour Day Shifts
7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
8–10 Call Shifts Per Month
1–2 Weekend Call Rotations Per Month
Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
Monitor and care for patients undergoing cardiac and vascular interventions.
Administer and monitor procedural sedation.
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required.
Assist with angioplasty, PCI, stent placements, Impella and IABP procedures.
Support Interventional Radiology procedures including biopsies, drain placements, embolizations, nephrostomies, and vascular access procedures.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergency situations.
Administer cardiac medications, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and emergency medications.
Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.
Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
Active RN License
Minimum 2 Years of Cath Lab Experience
Experience in Both Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Required
ACLS Certification
BLS Certification
EPIC Experience Required
Cardiac Catheterization Procedures
Cardiac Stent Placement
Left & Right Heart Catheterization
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Impella & IABP Management
Pacemaker/Defibrillator Lead Extraction
Swan Ganz Monitoring
Angioplasty Procedures
Procedural Sedation Administration & Monitoring
PICC & Central Line Placement
Endovascular Interventions
IR Procedures Including Biopsy, Embolization, Nephrostomy & Drain Placement
Phlebotomy and IV Placement
Cardiac Cath Patients requiring diagnostic and interventional procedures
Interventional Radiology patients requiring biopsies, drains, tubes, and vascular procedures
