Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Bronx, NY
Type: Contract | 14 Weeks
Shift & Schedule:
Day Shift | 3x12.5 Hours | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Pay Rate: $67 - $84/hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for an exciting Travel job in Bronx, NY.
Responsibilities
Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Manage ventilators and advanced airway support.
Respond to emergency and trauma situations.
Perform respiratory therapy treatments and assessments.
Assist in critical care and ICU settings.
Monitor patient response and adjust therapy according to established protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Ensure compliance with respiratory care standards and hospital policies.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Support high-quality patient care across multiple acuity levels.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
Active New York State Respiratory Therapist License (NYSED).
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC.
BLS Certification (Primary Source Verification required).
Minimum 2 years of experience in Adult and Pediatric General Care.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Adult and Pediatric Critical Care.
Experience in Emergency and Trauma settings.
Experience in Neonatal Care.
Strong ability to work in high-acuity hospital environments.
Preferred Qualifications
ACLS Certification.
PALS Certification.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) credential.
