Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry Stepdown
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: 8 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: Night Shift (3x12 Hours)
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Pay Rate:
Local: $1,700 - $1,800 Weekly
Traveler: $2,000 - $2,100 Weekly
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Stepdown RN to provide high-acuity cardiac care in a fast-paced stepdown environment. The RN will manage telemetry patients, cardiac drips, post-procedural recoveries, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Provide nursing care to cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
Administer and titrate cardiac medications and vasoactive drips.
Care for patients recovering from cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures.
Assist with conscious sedation procedures and cardioversions.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Document assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR.
Float to related stepdown units as needed.
Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License.
Current BLS and ACLS Certifications.
ECG/EKG Rhythm Interpretation Course completion.
Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown, PCU, or Telemetry experience.
Experience with cardiac drips and high-acuity cardiac patients required.
