Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg Step-down / Telemetry

Job Type: 14-Week Contract | Local & Traveler
Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours | 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week
Pay Rate:
Local: $2,000 - $2,050/Week
Traveler: $2,300 - $2,350/Week
We are seeking an experienced RN for a Med-Surg Step-down / Telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring and intermediate-level care.
Active RN License required.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Certifications required.
ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
Minimum 1–2 years of recent Step-down, PCU, or Telemetry experience.
Strong cardiac monitoring and patient assessment skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Provide nursing care to Med-Surg Step-down and Telemetry patients.
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
