Schedule

  • Alternating Day and Evening Shifts
  • Weekend Rotation Required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers and surgical teams in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role is responsible for preparing anesthesia equipment, assisting with invasive procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring operating rooms are fully equipped and ready for patient care.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program
  • National ASATT Certification as an Anesthesia Technologist
  • Current BLS/CPR Certification
  • Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
  • Experience with anesthesia equipment setup and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of Anesthesia Technician experience
  • Level I Trauma Center experience
  • Experience supporting acute cardiac procedures
  • Experience with invasive monitoring procedures

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain anesthesia workstations and operating rooms
  • Perform room turnovers and setup for surgical procedures
  • Troubleshoot anesthesia machines and related equipment
  • Assist anesthesia providers during invasive procedures
  • Support arterial line, central line, and pulmonary artery catheter placements
  • Maintain anesthesia supplies, carts, and inventory levels
  • Ensure compliance with infection prevention and sterile processing standards
  • Reprocess anesthesia equipment according to established guidelines
  • Support patient safety initiatives and quality care standards
