Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float Pool

Shift: Nights | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Travel Pay: $2,200 - $2,681/week (DOE)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a Float Pool assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry, cardiac medication, IV therapy, and acute care experience with the flexibility to float between facilities as needed.
Active Massachusetts RN License.
BLS Certification required.
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience.
Previous Travel Nursing experience required.
IV Therapy experience required.
Must be able to perform own Phlebotomy.
Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac medication administration.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Provide comprehensive nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients.
Monitor telemetry and cardiac patients.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and cardiac medications.
Care for post-operative, orthopedic, and medical-surgical patients.
Respond to emergency and urgent patient situations.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans.
Document patient care accurately in EMR systems.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
