OB Tech – Surgical Services
Location: Santa Monica, CA
Job Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $30 - $35/hour
We are seeking an experienced OB Tech to support Labor & Delivery and Surgical Services in a busy acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience assisting with obstetrical and surgical procedures while maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Minimum 2 years of OB Tech or Surgical Services experience.
Current BLS Certification required.
Experience supporting Labor & Delivery and C-Section procedures preferred.
Experience working in an acute care hospital setting.
EPIC experience preferred.
First-time travelers not accepted.
Assist physicians and nursing staff during obstetrical and surgical procedures.
Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile fields.
Support cesarean sections and other OB procedures.
Ensure surgical instruments and supplies are available and properly sterilized.
Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
Maintain an organized and efficient surgical environment.
