Job Title: X-Ray Technologist / Radiology Technologist

Location: Oregon City, OR
Shift: Day Shift | Block Schedule Required

• Thursday & Friday: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Pay Rate: $54 - $62/hr (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary

The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The technologist will produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensure patient safety, maintain imaging equipment, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of X-Ray / Radiology Technologist experience required.
• Active ARRT certification required.
• Current state Radiologic Technologist license required (if applicable).
• Acute care or hospital imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and radiation safety.
• Ability to work weekends and participate in on-call rotation.
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate radiographic imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Review images for quality and accuracy before submission for interpretation.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures and provide patient-centered care.
• Prepare imaging rooms and equipment for daily operations.
• Participate in assigned on-call coverage.

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
• Block Schedule Required
• On-Call: 2–4 Days Per Month
• Weekends Required
• Floating: No
• Ratio: 1:1
• Charting System: Epic

Certification & Licensure Requirements

• ARRT Certification
• State Radiologic Technologist License (if applicable)
