Position Title: LPN – Pediatrics Clinic 
Location: Great Great Falls, MT
Type: Direct Hire/ Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 Hours 

Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Pediatrics Clinic is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting while working within the scope of licensure. This role serves as a key liaison between patients, families, providers, and clinic staff, ensuring effective communication, coordination of care, and exceptional patient experiences. The LPN collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care, clinic operations, and overall practice efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with clinic policies and established standards of practice.
  • Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and clinical information.
  • Triage patient phone calls and communicate patient concerns to providers appropriately.
  • Assist with prescription refills and medication-related requests.
  • Complete prior authorizations and coordinate insurance-related requirements.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical visits.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with physicians, providers, RNs, CNAs, schedulers, and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Support daily clinic operations and promote a positive patient-centered environment.
  • Provide guidance and direction to CNAs and scheduling staff as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) Program.
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Previous pediatric, family practice, primary care, or outpatient clinic experience preferred.
  • Strong interest in pediatric patient care.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and patient care skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pediatric, family practice, primary care, or outpatient clinic settings.
  • New graduates and candidates with less than one year of experience may be considered.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
