Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Vascular Surgery Clinic

Location: Syracuse, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Ambulatory Vascular Surgery Clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient nursing experience, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal orientation in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Full-time, day shift
• Candidate must be available to start on a Friday

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License/Registration
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent nursing experience (within the last 2 years)
• Acute care experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity required
• Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Ambulatory/Outpatient Clinic experience
• Vascular Surgery Clinic experience
• EPIC EMR experience
• Telephone and patient triage experience

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
• Deliver patient care with minimal supervision and orientation
• Coordinate care for vascular surgery patients in an ambulatory setting
• Provide patient education and follow-up support
• Assist with clinic procedures and care coordination
• Accurately document patient encounters in the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
