Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract opportunity in a busy acute care hospital. Candidates must have recent acute care experience and previous travel nursing experience.

Requirements

Active New York RN License required
Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
BLS certification required
ACLS preferred
Epic experience required
No local candidates

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients.
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and blood products according to facility protocols.
Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Epic.
