Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine / PET Technologist for a contract opportunity at a leading acute care hospital. This role will primarily focus on PET imaging, with occasional support in Nuclear Medicine as needed. Candidates must have recent PET experience and a strong background in nuclear imaging procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required
• At least 6 months of PET experience required (mandatory)
• First-time travelers accepted with 2+ years of experience
• Active California license required
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic and Siemens systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform PET and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols.
• Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.
• Complete thorough and timely documentation within the EMR system.
