Job Title: Lead Product Owner
Location: Ottawa, ON
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Lead Product Owner with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple product streams, provide leadership, and support strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple product initiatives and Agile delivery teams.
• Establish product management best practices and governance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define strategic product objectives.
• Support enterprise transformation, modernization, and compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate delivery of customer, citizen, or patient-focused solutions.
• Prioritize business requirements and product backlogs.
• Work closely with technology and business teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage product dependencies, risks, and delivery challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement and product innovation efforts.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Product Owners and delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Lead Product Owner within BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments.
• Experience managing multiple product streams or enterprise initiatives.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting digital transformation and modernization programs.
• Understanding of governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong product strategy and backlog management experience.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent certification preferred.
