Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Montreal, QC
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will support business analysis, stakeholder collaboration, process improvement, requirements gathering, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and QA teams.
  • Work with stakeholders across BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments to identify business needs and operational challenges.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support digital transformation, modernization, and technology implementation initiatives.
  • Create and maintain business process documentation, workflow diagrams, and gap analyses.
  • Support system implementation, testing, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
  • Assist with change management, training, and end-user adoption activities.
  • Ensure solutions align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments.
  • Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, modernization, or enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Knowledge of business process analysis, workflow mapping, and gap analysis methodologies.
  • Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications, system implementations, or transformation projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement validation sessions.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
