Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry
Location: Mayfield Heights, OH
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 36 Hours Per Week (48-Hour Option Available)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg Telemetry assignment in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong telemetry and medical-surgical experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
Perform ongoing patient assessments and document findings accurately.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Respond effectively to emergency situations and changes in patient status.
Requirements:
Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required.
Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to travel assignments.
Current AHA BLS Certification required.
Current AHA ACLS Certification required.
Strong telemetry interpretation and acute care nursing skills.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient assessment abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
