Pay Rate: $25/hour

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Credentialing Specialist to manage and support the credentialing lifecycle for healthcare providers. This role involves handling initial appointments, reappointments, audits, and privileging processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all aspects of provider credentialing including initial credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging
• Perform credential audits and maintain accurate provider records
• Utilize credentialing software (e.g., MDStaff) to manage applications, verifications, and background checks
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely processing of credentialing activities
• Interpret and ensure compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare credentialing laws, policies, and procedures
• Monitor and track license expirations and ensure timely renewals for physicians and providers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
• Proven experience as a Credentialing Specialist in a healthcare setting
• Hands-on experience credentialing healthcare providers (physicians, allied health professionals, etc.)
• Strong understanding of credentialing processes, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
• Experience working with credentialing software platforms

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks and standards
